DirtTwister's SX - Round 5 - A replica of the 1990 Foxboro SX.Creator's CommentsThis is Round 5 in the DirtTwister's SX series of tracks. It is a replica of the 1990 SX race in Foxboro, MA. I was able to make a replica of the 1990 race thanks to Mark (RST_Smith13) who read my comments on my track New England SX, sent me an e-mail, and then provided me with a video tape of the 1990 race. Thanks Mark. (Your e-mail doesn't work anymore so I can't send you an e-mail to thank you). The Foxboro track was extremely rutted. There is no way to duplicate that in MCM 2. I did try to make the jumps difficult to make every lap. On the third straight there is a series of jumps leading up to a triple. I have tried to make it where you have to time those jumps perfectly to make the triple on a stock 250. If you bounce or jump too far you will have to lay back and double-single the triple. If you fall you can single-double the triple. The front straight is long and I have made it bumpy to try to slow the MCM 2 bike down. There is a serious kick up at the end of the straight so be prepared to slow down before getting to the end of the straight. Pay attention to the "Caution" signs on the left. The first jump is a steep takoff designed to emulate how the bikes reacted to the real track. This also sets up the next series of jumps, where good timing is essential to clean it every lap.
