Joy Of SX (SE) by AMA_BaatkCreator's Comments:As the release of MCM 2 nears I figured I should make my last MCM 1 national. I didn't get a chance to make all of the ones that I wanted to. I still have a couple in the works, which I will release for Extreme Biker and MCM 2 (Unadilla and Jolly Roger). I tried to decide what should be my last MCM 1 national and I decided that I should finish Joy Of SX. Joy Of SX was my first national and it was released as a raw conversion from an MCM 1 SX track. I did it while working on ASCEdit 2.0. I was testing the feasibility of converting SX tracks to nationals and I released Joy Of SX so that people could see what a raw conversion looked like. I thought it would be the best way to directly compare an SX track and the same track in the national environment. I had planned to update it, but I kept working on other tracks. Last summer I started working on an update to it, but it again took a back seat. When I decided to make it my last national, I dusted it off and finished it. It is 25% larger then the original. It is built at a grid res of 3.75. Several of the jumps have been modified to provide for optional lines. Some jumps have also been added. It's been tweaked to be race friendly. I hope that any cutting that the spline allows will not give an advantage. My goal was to have many lines and to be great for racing. Some people will complain that the jumps are easily made. Well some are and some aren't. When racing what matters is not how easily a jump is made but how fast you can do it. Under racing conditions not all jumps are easily made and I hope there is just enough difficulty to allow for small mistakes that make for good racing. I'd like to thank X_MasterK2 for including this track in Round 11 of his 250cc Round Robin Tournament. I hope everyone enjoys it.
