Subject: Motocross Madness 2 Powercurve BUG!!!!!

I find it difficult to believe that there isn't somebody on this list that
cares enough about the products they produce to reply to me. I know I
didn't get any undeliverables.

This is a very serious problem.

Hi,

There has been a serious bug found in Motocross Madness 2. It invalidates
the Zone Ranking System, X-Times, all Tournaments, and causes tremendous
problems when fast riders are labeled cheaters.

The problem is that all the values for the custom powercurves are stored in
the profile. When MCM 2 reads them it does not validate them. Allowing
any size bike to have any horsepower that you want.

MCM 2 needs to be fixed. For some reason the throttle bug in MCM 1 was
never fixed. This bug absolutely needs to be fixed.

Fixing this would require the data to be validated on input and for the
fixed EXE to restrict other on-line racers to the same version or higher.

I am curious as to who the right people are to contact about this
problem. I want to have everyone who is concerned about this problem
contact the right place. The people that I have talked about this with are
the majority of hosts of the fan sites for Motocross Madness. We will be
starting an active campaign to get this fixed.

It is a devastating blow to many long time players.

I am just trying to find the best way to resolve this problem and I am
confident that Microsoft wants to support their products.

Bruce,
I know that the problem is known with the team and being worked on as I type
this. We don't know exactly how you got all of our E-mails as they are
generally used for Internal communication. Please rest assured that we did
get your E-mail(s) and that the team is putting their efforts into
correcting the problem. Thank you.

A "tad" (getting her into trouble). :o The Test Manager was getting a
little upset that an outside person had access to all of our addresses (and
didn't know how you came by them). Don't worry about it though.

But yes, the problem is priority number one right now with the team so rest
assured that it's being addressed. ;o) Talk to ya later Bruce. - xxx
